Among the 17 CMS manufacturers with methylene chloride capacity in China, 5 are based in Shandong Province, 3 in Jiangxi Province, and 2 in Zhejiang Province, Jiangsu Province and Chongqing Municipality.

In terms of methylene chloride capacity, Shandong, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces together accounted for 65% of the domestic total in 2020. These three provinces play the dominant role in methylene chloride production, as most downstream producers are also located here.
