MARA website - Vice Minister Zhang Taolin met with Minister of Food, Fisheries, Equality and Nordic Cooperation of the Kingdom of Denmark Morgans Jensen in Beijing on September 10. They exchanged opinions on further deepening practical agricultural cooperation between China and Denmark.
Vice Minister Zhang noted that China and Denmark have carried out wide-ranging cooperation in agricultural areas and achieved positive results. Practical cooperation in animal husbandry, in particular, has scored significant achievements. The China-Denmark Dairy Technology Cooperation Center and the China-Denmark Animal Waste Recycling Strategic Cooperation Program are proceeding well. He said that China is willing to continuously deepen existing cooperation and expand cooperation areas on the basis of equality, mutual trust, and win-win cooperation. China hopes that the Danish side can further improve its business climate and work with China to propel new cooperation in various aspects of agriculture.
Minister Jensen completely agreed with Vice Minister Zhang on his remarks and suggestions regarding agricultural cooperation between the two sides. Minister Jensen also expressed willingness to step up exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side in animal health, livestock & poultry waste recycling, and food loss and waste, among others.
