Hubei Yihua Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (Hubei Yihua), formed on the basis of the former Hubei Yichang Chemical Plant, was founded in 1977. In 1992, Hubei Yichang Chemical Plant became a stock enterprise and it was renamed as Hubei Yihua Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. In Aug. 1996, Hubei Yihua was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. At the end of 2016, the total assets of the company were evaluated at USD60 billion and the number of its employees summed up to 8,395.
