After several years' development, IDAN supply can satisfy the current glyphosate production in China. Compared with the DEA route, the IDAN route has an advantage in production cost, and this will continue in a long term.

As IDA is used in both the DEA route and the IDAN route, many Chinese producers adopting the IDA pathway have both DEA production lines and IDAN production lines; therefore, they can change between the raw materials DEA and IDAN depending on the supply and price of them.
