While explore and produce oil, CNPC has been working hard in protecting the environment and benefiting the local community. By setting up seismic, drilling and R&D centers with its Kazakh partners, CNPC has helped upgrade technical and managerial expertise in Kazakh oil industry. By strengthening standardized operation and corporate governance, a safe and clean operation has been ensured. We made donations to the construction of schools, hospitals and public facilities, and we also set education funds and sponsored sports events in Kazakhstan.
