Yu Xinrong Meets Panamanian Ambassador

On Nov.27, Yu Xinrong, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, met with Leonardo Kam Binns, Panamanian Ambassador to China, and they both attended a reception celebrating the 116th anniversary of the founding of Panama. 

  

On behalf of the Chinese Government, Yu said in his speech that since the establishment of China-Panama diplomatic relations, which guided by the leaders of the two countries, the relationship between the two countries have enjoyed rapid development. The cooperation in various areas has been continuously proceeding well. He also said that since agriculture plays a particularly important role in China-Panama cooperation, China welcomes more quality agricultural products from Panama to enter into China and is willing to constantly strengthen the cooperation in agricultural science and technology, personnel exchanges, as well as agricultural production and processing.  

  

Binns expressed that good cooperation between Panama and China in agriculture reflects friendly relations of the two countries, and Panama is ready to work with China to consolidate the good results of agricultural cooperation, expand areas of cooperation, and promote the common development in agriculture for both countries.
