On November 7, Yu Xinrong, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, met Croatian Minister of Agriculture, Marija Vuckovic in Beijing. They exchanged views on further strengthening agricultural cooperation between China and Croatia.  

Yu congratulated Vuckovic on assuming office as the new Minister of Agriculture, and expressed his willingness to work together with the Croatian side to continuously deepen the “17+1” agricultural cooperation, promote agricultural investment and trade in diverse ways, strengthen exchanges of agricultural technology and personnel, and press ahead with the all-round agricultural cooperation. 

Vuckovic said the Croatian side attached great importance to agricultural cooperation with China and hoped to export more quality agricultural products to China. She expressed her willingness to actively expand areas of cooperation in order to bear more fruit in the future.
