On April 30, the People’s Government of Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, issued
the Environmental Impact Assessment of a new vitamin project of Jiangxi Brothers Pharmaceutical co., Ltd. on its
website. The project will build a vitamin B3 capacity of 13,000t/a and
medicinal spices of 3,000 t/a, and it will also include the construction of
pharmaceutical intermediates.
The total investment of the new project is USD 35.64 million (RMB 240 million) and it will be located in Pengze County Rocky Mountain Industrial Park and the control area for printing and dyeing which is in the south area of Jiangxi Brothers Pharmaceutical co., Ltd.. The project is estimated to cover 46,330 square meters with its total gross floor area of 56,770 square meters. The construction project is divided into two phases: In the first phase, a 3-methylpyridine production line, a production line of dihydromyrcenol and pine oil are built respectively and the second phase will focus on the construction of a production line of niacinamide, a production line of niacin, a production line of furanone, and a production line of methoxy dimethyl heptanal.

Jiangxi Brothers Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., with its stock
code 002562, is an enterprise in China, with the main office in Jiujiang. It is
invested by Brother Enterprises and operates in the Pharmaceutical and Medicine
Manufacturing industry. The Brother Pharmaceutical project is estimated to
invest 50 hundred million RMB in total. The project mainly focuses on research,
production and marketing in the aspect of fine chemical industry, bio-chemical
industry and pharmaceutical chemicals. The company plans to invest 30 hundred
million RMB as the first investment. In 2015, the company has constructed its
productions of vitamin B3, vitamin B5, and CHP (co-generation of heat and power) project and supporting
facilities for CHP, with the total investment of RMB14.8 hundred million. The
trial productions continued in the second quarter of 2017. In the second
quarter of 2017, the company has invested about 15 hundred million RMB for the
second construction project and the trial productions will be planned to start
in the fourth quarter of 2018.

tanning agent in China and the top three in the world. It is also a famous
leather chemical enterprise in China.
With the first phase of the project carrying out
successfully, the company will further occupy the market share of vitamin B3
and in the meanwhile, it will become one of the primary suppliers of vitamin B5
in the world.
