Dinnissen's new factory allows feed processors to design production lines

Feed manufacturing specialists Dinnissen Process Technology is opening a one-of-a-kind food design factory where feed processors, nutritionists, and technologists can test and develop processing operations.

The Food Design Factory is a test environment for developing new feed and foodstuffs production lines. It boosts endless variations and combinations of diverse processing functions such as grinding, sieving, weighing, mixing, dosing, drying expanding, extruding and vacuum coating.

The factory, with a production capacity of 200 to 800 kilogrammes per hour, can also serve as a small-scale production plant. Companies can thus manufacture new products to test markets at reduced risk, since they do not need to invest heavily in a processing plant.
