The European Commission (EC) is calling for tender to study feed consumption patterns in the EU.

Besides providing an analysis of consumption patterns, the study would also develop a quantitative model to estimate the annual demand for feed concentrates in the European Union by Member State, category of animals, physiological stage, livestock production system and feeding system.

The model will also take into account the prices and the availability of the different feed concentrates and the raw materials used to produce them.

The maximum budget attributed to this project is EUR 299,999.

The deadline for submitting offers expires 12 November 2008. The successful contractor will have to carry out the study within 9 months from the signing of contract.
