Japan's compound feed output up 1.1% in December

Total compound feed production in Japan rose 1.1% on-year in December to 2.326 million tonnes.

In November, total production of compound feed for animals rose 2.2% on-year to 2.067 million tonnes, according to Ministry of Agriculture data.

Japan is the world's biggest importer of corn, the main ingredient of animal feed in Japan. The US is the main supplier of corn for feed use.
