President Hu Jintao came to PetroChina Lanzhou Petrochemical Company on February 18 for investigation and extension of New Year's greeting to workers at the production line. On the morning, President Hu and his entourage paid a visit to the 200,000 tons/year high-pressure polyethylene, 300,000 tons/year polypropylene, 300,000 tons/year full density polyethylene, 90,000 tons/year butadiene extraction and 340,000 tons/year gasoline hydrogenation facilities.

Premier Wen Jiabao came to the residential community for staff of the Ethylene Chemical Plant of PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical Company on February 16, expressing his greetings to model workers, ordinary employees and their families. In model worker Tang Yulong's home, Premier Wen inquired his work and living status in detail. At the evening, Premier Wen and his entourage drove to see the workers at the production line of the Ethylene Chemical Plant.
