The parallel gas pipeline from Sebei Gasfield to Golmud City in Qinghai Province was put into operation on May 29. The pipeline has a length of 177.25 kilometers, designed annual deliverability of 2 billion cubic meters and a designed pipeline pressure of 6.4Mpa. The Sebei Gasfield, located in Qaidam Basin in western China, is one of the nation’s four large onshore gas producing areas, with an annual gas production capacity of 4 billion cubic meters.
