CNPC and the government of Henan Province signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing on December 4. CNPC Vice President Liao Yongyuan and Henan Province Vice Governor Zhang Dawei signed the agreement on behalf of each side.

According to the agreement, comprehensive cooperation between CNPC and Henan Province will take place in areas including major projects, the oil and gas marketing network andbiomass energy.A cooperation memo on relevant projects was also signed.
